How much does it cost?
I charge a flat fee, not an hourly rate. The amount depends on the charges and the case, so I quote it during the free consultation. You know the fee before you decide to hire me.
Will I talk to you or an assistant?

Do you handle cases in my court?
I appear in courts throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County. If your case is somewhere else, call me and I will tell you plainly whether I can help.

Yes. The consultation is free and confidential. What you tell me while seeking legal advice is protected, even if you decide not to hire me.
What should I do before my court date?
Don’t discuss your case with anyone except your lawyer, including on social media or on jail phone calls, which can be recorded. Write down what happened while it’s fresh, keep every document you were given (citation, release or bail papers, court or DMV notices), and note your court date. After a DUI arrest, the deadline to request a DMV hearing is short, generally 10 days. This is general information, not advice about your specific case.
